Archeology - Medieval settlement at Albecq

A few years ago, this settlement was found at Albecq. Excavations revealed the remains of buildings for both people and animals. In a drain leading to the beach a bag of money and a dagger were found where they had been hidden in about the 13-14th century. The walls visible above have been retained for the public to view.
