The Parish and Community of Castel, Guernsey
Parish Schools The parish presently has three schools located within it's boundaries - Castel Primary School, Les Beaucamps Secondary School and La Mare de Carteret Primary and Secondary Schools.
The oldest Castel parish school still in use - once divided into seperate Boys and Girls school, they have since been combined.
Les Beaucamps Secondary School
Built on the site of the Royal Guernsey Militia Camp and opened by HRH Princess Margaret.
La Mare de Carteret Primary School
On the same site as the Secondary school.
La Mare de Carteret Secondary School
Pupils for the school come from outside of the parish to the North and East as well as from the Parish itself.
In the past there were small schools at Kings Mills, Les Eturs and Albecq, these have since become private homes or demolished.
